New York Bold Onions are some of the best in the world for cooking! That is because they have nearly twice the sugar content of so-called “sweet onions” and far less water content. This results in onions that burst with flavor in the pan (they get “sweet in the heat”) and caramelize much better than most other onions.  

New York Bold Onions are hearty, lasting much longer than others! They have to be, to survive cold winters in upstate New York!

New York Bold Onions are healthy! Their high antioxidant content makes them a leader in cancer fighting properties and superior in reducing the risk of obesity and heart disease!

Every New York Bold Onion is grown with care in local, organic muck soils. For four generations we have grown these delicious alums in the fertile black soils of Upstate New York. Our facility operates on Wind and Solar energy.
